Pick-up Fluff---Workin' on the game

OK, Ive done some reading and some field exercises.
Got the open down pat---no problems "breaking the ice"

The time between Open ----and ----Number close is a sticking point.

What do you fill in that "fluff" time with. The typical whats your name?, what do you do bla bla bla is BORING.

any routines, common topics ---someting to let her know I "care" what she thinks?

Bro you can plain out how to have a conversation. You either can talk to people or not. Its something you can learn by continuing to do it. But you cant read a book and learn a personality.
