how do i open up the little glass amps. glass cutter???? tool (where do i get it) ??? or just snap off??? glass in amp if i snap off then in needle then in my a$$

lightly score the neck with a serrated blade. wrap in a clean cloth so if it does happen to break you dont end up with a handful of glass. then have to make up an excuse as to why your hand looks like hamburger meat. then grasp the bottom with one hand and give the top a firm snap in one clean motion. ive had glass in my amps before, never anything small enough to be passed through the needle thankfully.

This question was anwsered a few weeks ago. I use a pen cap to open mine. Simply put the pen cap over the top of the amp and snap it. It will snap right off.

score them with a knife and snap em off.. they sell amp openers..

yeah take a knife along the line on the amp and pop off in one quick motion like they said

Most amps are prescored and pressurized, that's the "pop" you hear when you open them, so you shouldn't get glass in it.

If not prescored, then you can use a file to score it

Some amps have painted dots, sometimes white or black. Put opposing pressure above and below

I`m glad I have vials that sounds like its way more difficult. Drawing from a vial is so simple, dont have to worry about getting glass in the syringe.
