Anyone know if it is legal to buy pins over the counter in Calif? I asked at 2 pharmacies and they looked at me like I was crazy. (Of course I did make up a good story about needing to inject super glue into a squeaky chair leg....
Thanks dudes!

if you told me that I would laugh at you!Tell them you inject b-12 or tell them you are an HRT patient you ran out of pins. You should check the laws in your state and check with the pharmacy they have there own rules as well, but I have never been turned away from a walgreens.I always tell the truth, but I do not elaborate about where I get my chemicals.Act like you know what your doing.Know exactly what you want and how many and most people dont question you.
To avoid the hassle alltogether in the future, I would suggest going with an internet source for those. Even if it's legal in Cali, it's less trouble to click and order. Although, I've also never been turned away from a pharmacy.
Depends on the state you can only buy an x amount of them
machin3-
Lions store sells them click on the link up in the right hand corner but they are ONLY for research purposes
Every state has different laws:
http://www.temple.edu/lawschool/phrhcs/map.htm
That is a great site showing the different laws, state by state.
The temple website above says its legal in Washington to sell without a perscriptions however it seems like each city is different. In Seattle I have no problem but they look at you like your crazy in Kirkland.
Never had a problem in BC or Alberta. Get a few dirty, judgemental looks but in the end they have to, by law, give them to you. Refusing pins encouraged needle sharing and unsanitary proceedures and is against the law here.
Even places where it is legal chain pharmacies like CVS and wallgreens alot of times have company policies. Usually something like "only with a doctors prescription", or "only if you fill insulin with us".
Go to a mom and pop type pharmacy. something locally owned. no problems there.
I wouldnt tell them you are a HRT patient so they cant ask for a prescription.. I just say I inject B12.. and act really dumb hehe.. Works like a charm.. Im from Indiana and I buy boxes with no issues.. (not all the time mind you..).. But if not in a hurry why not buy online.. they are cheaper?
It's harder to get syringes and pins in the United States than it is to get the actual drug you want to use.
Up here in Canada, you can get syringes and pins legally. Like Candy.
America, Land Of The Free?![]()
Yeah I am going to have to go into a pharmacy here in ontario and buy a box of syringes because my order never got shipper from lion from a month ago. Ah well atleast we have the pharmacy option.
