    Here comes the hard part!

    Hello everyone. I have been lifting for about two years(29), and have made good progress. But I have accepted the fact that to be where I want to be i cant just eat foods I think are good for me. Does anyone know of a good book that has food list of protein/carbs/fats, and their effect on the body and their uses in bodybuilding.

    Chris Aceto has some good books out.

    Bodybuilding.com has a good nutritional section as well that teaches the basics.

    Otherwise I'd suggest any college level nutrional courses, the books used are an excellent source of info.

    Good to see someone is willing to actually research the stuff rather than expect someone to just write their diet.. it's not quite that easy.
