Hello guys,
Got my bloodwork back, and I already knew my testosterone was low, but it's taken a nosedive since I stopped working out a year ago.
I used to have total testosterone at 400 to 450 when I was trying to work out seriously 2 years ago...I'm trying to recover from chronic fatigue syndrome/Fibromyalgia/yeast infections, etc. so I have laid off the weights.
New tests are as follows:
My latest total Testosterone Blood test is at 328 ng/dl,
A saliva test I had done recently has me at 250 ng/dl,
HARRISON'S TEXT. OF INT. MED. REF. RANGE (Ages 18-65): 270-1070 ng/dL
Free Testosterone is at 9 pg/mL.
HARRISON'S REFERENCE RANGE: 12-40 pg/mL
I am so young. I can get a prescription for about 50mg/week of testosterone cypionate, or some androgel. I'm just afraid of shutting off my own testosterone production via the HPT axis. I've never run a cycle before, but I now have Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction / Adrenal Fatigue (Insufficiency), among other things. I am trying to take large doses of Growth Hormone to try and regenerate my body and my system...but should I take some testosterone? Will it help my body work properly? The main thing I think it would help me with is the weight loss I'm experiencing--I now barely weigh more than I did when I was 13 years old--I've lost close to 35 pounds...I also have what you might call ED--not seriously--I get hard, but I have trouble getting a full erection...
Is it worth taking some testosterone? Might it permanently affect my Hypothalamus? I feel more comfortable taking HGH since I feel it'll regenerate my body and fix the real causes of my problems. Should I take HCG maybe? I've heard HCG shouldn't be taken longer than 2 weeks at a time since that can downregulate LH and FSH receptors?
Any advice anyone?
