I'm cutting right now, got a shoulder injury, and I guess the body works faster and better if it has the calories it needs to repair.
When I am cutting, i'm restricting the calories the body need, therefor it seems logical to me that an injury healing would take longer time, because the main goal of the body is to stay alive, thus not caring so much about injuries until you have the energy that the body needs to do it, so tell me:

Should I take a few weeks of the diet? Ramping up calories so that i'll be around maintainace, or just slighty over, to help the process along the way?

I do not have any rush, and it's likely that the body would be more afficient at burning fat again, once I have told it "that im not starving" with ramping the caloric intake to meet the body caloric req's.
