Hey bros, I need help identifying an injury, and what to do about it. I seem to have an injury in my right, rear shoulder area: the pain only occurs when I move my shoulder a certain way - when I do barbell bench presses and lateral raises, barbell and dumbell curls. I cannot do lateral raises (even 20 lbs dumbell, I used to do 50) I cannot do barbell curls even at 25 lbs. This may sound absurd but I can still do dumbell presses (100 lbs each) and front and back military press (230 lbs barbell). No pain during all heavy back exercises including supersets, tri sets. However I CAN'T do bench press, even with only 50 lbs, incline and decline. I'm really confused about what happened - is it the rotator cuff or the muscles and surrounding the shoulder blade area? Right now, I'm taking aspirin to relieve the pain. I'm really worried because I'm currently preparing for a local contest on February 20 (novice division). I'm 6', 230 lbs and have cut my weight to 208 lbs already. I've been using deca, test propionate and stan and clen and have spent a lot already on my cycle and diet. I'm thinking of stopping but would like to get advice from the forum and would appreciate any help. Why does it hurt in my rear back shoulder area when I do bench presses? Why can't I do lateral raises but can still do all other exercises? HELP!
