    Create a name for my gym

    Hi guy's. I am thinking of investing and opening up my own gym. I am drawing up a buisness plan and I am trying to think of a name for my gym so lets have some of your ideas guys ?

    just get a franchise with Golds Gym. You won't need to advertise or anything like that, with the name people will come to you instead of you going to have to go after people.

    Looked into a franchise with golds gym. They are looking for a minimum investment of £170,000 to £700,000. Don't have that kind of money I'm afraid.

    Well I am sure that this guy would love to go with a hardcore name but lets face it, he is sinking a butt load of money into the place and he wants to get as many people into it as he can so he can actually make a living off of it so those names may turn away a lot of potential clients.

    You all know as well as I do that you arn't going to get the group of people who just want to come in and run on the treadmill and read the paper with a name like 'Ballz 2 the Wallz', or 'Go Heavy'.

    Keep it simple. Maybe try somthing like 'Total Body Fitness Center', or 'Brick Bodies' (for this one center the ad campaign around a man and a woman with a really lean build and super tight abs).

    That is just my opinion from observing many gyms includeding the one I worked at in college.

    Oh, and some of those ideas are pretty good and I would LOVE to work out at a place with one of those names, but remember the guy wants to make some dough!
