Describe your worst injury while lifting or exercising....
I ripped a pec during a powerlifting meet because I didnt check the weights before a bench press attempt....
Turns out is was 35 lbs heavier on one side....

None so far besides hurting my lower back during a squat cus my buddy made me laugh...bastard!
I tore a rib muscle (intercostal) while doing leg presses. I had on 425 and was doing a set of 30...all the way down style. I started to exhale a second before I should have and oh-my-fvcking-shit-the-bed-my-mangina-is-bleeding type pain hits me. I had to ask a 70-year-old Japanese guy to strip off the weights, just so I could push it back up and lock it out.
I crawled back home...
Honestly I think the worst injury I've had was dropping a big iron plate on my bare foot while loading the bar at home. That sucked in a big way, and continued to suck for weeks after. Kinda lame, huh?
Hurting one of your shoulders is possibly one of the worst things you can do. I ****ed my shoulder up once after a tough shoulder session and I couldn't lift a thing for about 10 weeks afterwards.
NOT COOL!
i was doing behind the head dumbbell press... and dislocated my shoulder. almost made me throw up.
thats it. (knock on wood)
I dislocated my left shoulder when doing inclines. I didn't have a spotter and had to get the weight down without dropping it onto my thighs. I got it put back in and had to lie down for a few minutes as I felt faint. Bruce Willis eat your heart out!
Only real injury I ever had was doing heavy incline dumbell presses without a spotter I dont even remember the weight but the way I brought them up to start the exercise was terrible and I ended up hurting the front tendon of my rotator cuff of my right shoulder, off the weights for months after that it really sucked.
Dislocated shoulder doing incline dumbell, was going light too, burn out set. It was fvcking retardely painful, I threw the weights on the ground and tried not to pass out or throw up.
arm bent backwards when i was doing dumbbell military press. tweaked my shoulder for a few months.
Destoryed my lower back before from bent over barbell rows. Couldn't sit down too quickly from it.
i only had one where i wasnt paying attention and a curling bar rolled off the bench onto the top of my foot and broke three toes and a top bone. but the next weekend i wrestled in vermont and took first in the tournmanent, coach had it wrapped like a freakin gordida lol. i WILL not workout without shoes now
None so far...I try to keep the weight where I can properly handle it.
***No source checks!!!***
i was really young didnt know how to lift and i was "doing" db flys and i dont no what i did but i ended up hurting my collar bone so bad i couldnt even move my arm for like a month
This is sad... During a lift meet... Bench press....shoulder popped out, spotters didnt catch the weight in time, broke three ribs, needed surgery on the shoulder..........
another time, Ripped an elbow tenden, medial, that sucked
annnd most recent, I do a one armed shoulder press on a Tbar, anyways, index finger got stuck in between 3 45's falling, broke my finger in two places, severed the nerve, and needed surgery hahah, its still healing, Im typing with no index on the left hand haha
