    Worst Injuries while lifting?

Describe your worst injury while lifting or exercising....

I ripped a pec during a powerlifting meet because I didnt check the weights before a bench press attempt....

I tore a rib muscle (intercostal) while doing leg presses. I had on 425 and was doing a set of 30...all the way down style. I started to exhale a second before I should have and oh-my-fvcking-shit-the-bed-my-mangina-is-bleeding type pain hits me. I had to ask a 70-year-old Japanese guy to strip off the weights, just so I could push it back up and lock it out.

    I crawled back home...

I don't care what anyone says. A torn intercostal is one of the worst injuries you can have. Breathe in...FCUK! Breathe out...FCUK! by a tiny little muscle.

Honestly I think the worst injury I've had was dropping a big iron plate on my bare foot while loading the bar at home. That sucked in a big way, and continued to suck for weeks after. Kinda lame, huh?

Hurting one of your shoulders is possibly one of the worst things you can do. I ****ed my shoulder up once after a tough shoulder session and I couldn't lift a thing for about 10 weeks afterwards.

    NOT COOL!

I dislocated my left shoulder when doing inclines. I didn't have a spotter and had to get the weight down without dropping it onto my thighs. I got it put back in and had to lie down for a few minutes as I felt faint. Bruce Willis eat your heart out!

Only real injury I ever had was doing heavy incline dumbell presses without a spotter I dont even remember the weight but the way I brought them up to start the exercise was terrible and I ended up hurting the front tendon of my rotator cuff of my right shoulder, off the weights for months after that it really sucked.

This is sad... During a lift meet... Bench press....shoulder popped out, spotters didnt catch the weight in time, broke three ribs, needed surgery on the shoulder..........
another time, Ripped an elbow tenden, medial, that sucked
annnd most recent, I do a one armed shoulder press on a Tbar, anyways, index finger got stuck in between 3 45's falling, broke my finger in two places, severed the nerve, and needed surgery hahah, its still healing, Im typing with no index on the left hand haha
