    grapefruit juice

    I love this stuff, and I found a brand called healthy balance ruby red grapefruit. It claims to have 75% less sugar and is sweetened with splenda. The downfall is that it only contains 20% juice. It has 7 carbs per 8 oz.. 6 of which are sugar. Would you guys say this is better than regular grapefruit juice, and is it ok to have about a serving a day if I am on a cutting diet? Thanks.

    Yuck!!! Grapefruits and grapefruit juice is the only fruit that actually makes me gag if I eat/drink it.
    It doesn't sound too bad though for a cutting diet, but I still think h2o is always the best when cutting.
    Oh and make sure you're not on any meds because GFJ uses up the enzymes that breaks a lot of meds down and you can od/die from it.

    No high fructose corn syrup. Ingredients are:

    Filtered water, grapefruit juice concentrate, natural flavors, citric acid, absorbic acid, sucralose, and acessulfame potassium.

    Thanks a lot for the info, I had no idea about that.

    I love it also!~ but do becareful with any pscrb meds you might be on....also some claim Grapefruit lowers blood pressure....as far as what kind stick to the natty stuff....more enzymes in real juice and some real frutose won't hurt you

    one serving a day? dude i have one serving of poop daily when cutting. no but honestly, it's one serving. you'll be fine.
