Cortisteroid prescription consern

My doctor prescribed me prednisone for a cough that wont go away. This type of steroid raises cortisone a lot. He does not know that i am half way through a test cycle, which of course lowers costisone. Im only supposed to take the pills for ten days, but he said i will lose muscle while on it. What the hell should i do?

why for ten days? I had a athma attack last year the doctor gave me one cortisone shot and thats it!

Asthma attack is different..its a one time thing. Ive had this cough for months.

For ten days its not that drastic either. Just keep your diet in check. If anything the edema will make you look bigger. You will easily recover from 10 days...and that even if you lose anything

i have had the same thing! my doc gave me prednisone and tussionex also and i am also 5 weeks into my cycle. let me tell you ahead of time the prednisone wont help at all so dont bother taking it the cough syrup didnt help either plus the vicadin in it makes me nousious. i have had my cough for 2.5 months how about u?

btw my girlfriend is a pharmacist and she gets my cough syrup with codine and its the only thing that helps i have another appt with the doc for july 2nd. we still dont know where the hell the cough is coming from and its extremely aggrivating

i was reading the testoviron depot 250mg leaflet yesterday and I found that in rare cases it can cause a cough after injection, maybe its something related to test
