It is a very extreme diet designed for rapid weight loss, which for most people is unhealthy and won't work long term.

I tried it a few years ago and lost some weight but my cholestorol was through the roof when I took my physical. So I would say it is trash too, especially since the weight came right back when I tried to get my cholestorol back in check.
