We started somewhere around 50lbs and over about 3 weeks moved up to 75lbs The last time at 75lbs I felt the most relief however the next day my entire spine was really sore. I still have numbness and pain just not as bad. I tried working out again lightly but my nerve acted up the next day, really frustrating because I am addicted to lifting and I just can't stand missing this much lifting.
I am STILL waiting for an appointment with my rheumotolgist to get cortisone shots. I've heard that helps a lot. I think I will ask my doc about the prednisone. My pain now gets bad enough where I have to take a narcotic pain killer and I do not want to go down that road, I take less then half of what he prescribed but prefer to take none. I am healing just very slowly, to slow for me.
Thanks for all the advise, it actually helps hearing from others that went through it.
