I took my first shot of test e in my glute on Monday and my glute is still pretty sore. My buddy was the one to hit me and he hit me kind of high but still hit the muscle. When I say high the site was about lined up with the top of my crack. The longer I sit the more it hurts when I get up. I can't sleep on that side at all. Let me know what you guys think. Is it just a bad bruise or something else? I also have a little bit of swelling; it’s only noticeable by touch.

Two questions...

1)is it hot to the touch..if so it could be infected

2) what size needle did he use on you gauge and length.

It's doesn't feel hot.

1.5 inch, 22 gauge was used.

I can feel that it swelled by touching the non-injection side compared to the injection side.

Ive taken a couple shots with a painless AAS in the glute, and just every once and a while Id hit the wrong spot or something and I'd feel it for 2-3 days. Its usually not that painful or nearly as bad as shooting prop or vet winnie.

22G is a little big you could go to 23G but it could have been virgin muscle if it was your first injection.

You should be ok man. It's weird sometimes, i shot in my quad sunday and it hurt for a day, then i shot in the other quad yesterday and nothing at all.

I wanted to go 1 inch 22G but they didn't have any. I also didn't change the needle after filling. Can I go 1 inch 23G in the glute or can I even go with a higher gauge?

I always switch pins when drawing and injecting. also ive stuck with 22g 1 1/2" for glute injections. You want to get as deep into the belly of the muscle as possible

You are supposed to use 1.5" for glute but some people say if you are really lean then 1" is ok. Personally I inject quads and delts and always use a 25G 1" pin which I find totally painless vs the 22 and 23G.
