Bacteriostatic Water, How long?

Hey gentlemen,

Question regarding the use of Bacteriostatic Water:

The "reusable" vial of BA Water is good for how long?
Once it's been used once, even with a clean pin and alcohol swab, there's risk of bacteria contamination, isn't there?

In a professional environment, it is good for 30 days from the point the seal is cracked and the first pin stick. In a home environment you could probably stretch that out a little bit, but that gives you at least something to start from as a guide.

You are right that even bacteriostatic water will eventually start growing stuff ... just not right away.
