    Curious (acne question)...

I've used topical prescription acne treatments since I was about 19, I'm 22 now. Prior to that I never had really bad acne but any acne at all frustrates me so I went to the derm and I've been using various topicals since (klaron, finacea, benzaclyn) and with these my acne has always been very, very mild. Couple spots a week. They dissapear, get one or two next week, then they dissapear, rinse and repeat. Sometimes my skin is perfectly clear even but I still use the topicals cause I know i'd break out more if I stopped. Never had any form of cystic acne on my face ever. To the point, has anybody with very mild acne actually broken out to all hell (cystic, etc) after a cycle? Or does it usually just heighten the severity of your current condition? As in mild acne sufferers might experience a little more towards moderate while severe acne sufferers will have horrid breakouts? Or can people completely go from zero to severe? I know some people never experience any acne but apparently that's a rarity. Just wondering, looking for some opinions. I'm currently using retin-a micro now and loving it. I've read pages & pages of acne posts here but wanted to post my personal questions. Thanks for any replies, appreciated.

I never have acne, only one or two here and there sometimes...

I did a longer cycle last time I juced, now 3 months later I got lots of acne on my shouldes.
Im on letro now for some weeks, 0.5mg ED, and I wash my shoulders with alcohol every morning and before bedtime.
They are almost gone now, but im still red on my skin cuz of them, but that cuz my shin is still healing from them.

    To answer you Q.
I quess I go from nothing to a little acne, and then is dissapears again...
I usually get acne during PCT, and some friend of mine do too...

I belive it gets worse when cycling. Those who have acne get more acne...

*edit* forgot to mention, there is ways to minimize acne... letro is a great compound for this...

Accutane's heavy on ur Kidneys, it drains all the water from you System, dries out eyes, you get chaved lips, u look sick but it does help but i would make that my last resort

I remember a while back guys were talking about showering with dish soap.... don't know if thats gonna help ya

Yeah accutane would definitely be a last resort. To be honest, my face is fine right now doing what I'm doing. I get minor acne on my back if I don't shower immediately after working out but tanning keeps my back completely acne free, I usually cover my face with a towel while tanning, makes my face less tan then my body but all these topicals mak uv light 10x stronger. I was just wondering how severe the no acne-mild acne folk can get it after a cycle. I know it's very individualistic though. Haha I see no reason to start washing with dishwashing soap, but I've read plenty of posts about it, dawn liquid I believe. I'll pass.

during puberty and so on i barely ever had any acne besides a pimple or zit every now and then and my last cycle i got really bad acne on my shoulders. right now im on minocycline and even that is taking its time clearing it up. my advice is to keep test doses at or below 500 and see a derm immediately if any problems. i had great skin before now i got red marks on my shoulders. Also pct seems to be the worst time to get it. keeping blood levels stable also helps plan your cycle beforehand and dont deviate form it.

Well I have very oily skin and I recently got on a diet and had to start taking flaxseed oils with tablespoons and eating peanut butter. I decided to stop worrying about my face and focus on my body. Suprisingly I never thought eating good oils would remove my oily skin. VEry random and contradictory to mee, plus i'm shocked.

I tell you what, I get the most acne as soon as I get off my cycle. That's when I break out like crazy for some reason.

have heard also that accutane can sometimes eliminate acne permanently. When I start breakin out I carry a bottle of those stridex face cleaning pads and use them like 4-6 times a day. helps me alot.

    search accutane on this forum.

some guys here had taken it up to 1-3 times and they said after that they had no acne or like nothing. accutane has some permanent effects on the oil glands.

all my life i've never had spots, i've done cycles with pct and seen nothing, when i did a prop, tren cycle last year i added masteron at week 5 and it gave me all out cystic acne, my face, back and shoulders were awful, i tried all the different creams and sprays etc but nothing worked, i even tried using nizarol as recommended by anthony roberts but it did nothing, the only thing that helped a bit was exposure to sun. all in all it took 6 months for it to clear and a year on i've still got bad scaring. I think some people are more sensitive to certain steroids than others and you only find out when its too late, i'll never run mast again

Break outs after the cycle are very common. Kind of like how women break out around their period each month. fluctuating hormones sucks. Fortunatly most people just get the acne brake outs on their backs. Bad facial acne devestates self esteem. I use to have moderate acne on the face until I was 29. I have had clear skin since then. This is one reason taking test is something I worry about. I don;'t want the zits again.

I've found pimples are directly related to Estrogen and DHT levels in your blood. If you are very prone to acne on cycle like I am consider taking a mild anti E as well as washing once a day with Nizoral to control DHT levels at the skin surface. Doing these two thing ahve made what was once a very bad cistic problem into nothing more then a pimple here and there.

I've been lurking around the Ar-spar for quite some time trying to figure out the exact same thing.

Acne on cycle is still acne, so no matter whats causing it, your meds will still fight it.

The increased DHT in your system can be controlled adding anti-dht's (i prefer topical such as clerogen and nizoral, but an oral approach like avodart would work as well) to your current skin regimen

i dont believe acne is caused by estrogen, or at least im yet to see any evidence it does.

guys honeslty im not kidding, yes retin-a is good but acne sucks. alot of guys have ran accutane 1-3 times and the stuff never came back. go research many have said accutane causes permanent damage to the oil and mucus glands stopping potential acne. you dont see all the pros covered in acne and they use alot more then guys on this site.

also the other guy said is that tanning or sun is very effective.

Drugs, creams and typical acne cures sometimes work in a partial way but the results are temporary and the side effects are nasty. The tiny handful acne sufferers who have learned how to clear their acne from within and without ever using drugs or over the counters are the only people in the world who keep their skin clear permanently. Now you can learn these clear skin secrets from a nutritionist and a former sufferer who knows from real-world experience exactly how it's done with the knowledge on natural acme treatments
