Is Aromasin a "steroid"? need help

I have a bottle of liquid letrozole and aromasin here in my room, and want to take it to reduce get some estrogen control going on in my body (gyno, bloating, etc.) I am NOT on a cycle right now. I was wondering if the aromasin, being a steroidal aromatase inhibitor would cause the androgenic side effects (bone plate closing, acne, testes stop producing testosterone)?

    No it will not.
It is not a steroid, nor is it anabolic.

aromasin is not a steroid it is an (AI) Aromatase Inhibitor it is often used in steroid cycles to reduce estrogen related side effects, it is also used in post cycle therapy in order to increase natural testosterone levels back up to par after they have been surpressed.

    however....

it is a type I Aromatase Inhibitor which is steroidal

it is all very confusing to me, but the short answer is it is definitely not a steroid
