quoted 1500 for surgery

I saw a doc yesterday who said he'd cut out my lumps for 1500 dollars. He said that, since there wasnt any fat to bother with and the lumps are small, he can quickly remove them in his own office without putting me under. Apparently using the facility and the anesthesiologist are a big part of the cost or something. Needless to say I was stoked to hear a number i can pay.

But has anyone else ever got this deal? The doc looked legit, his office looked legit, it was on the 9th floor of a legit medical center next to a hospital, all his certifications are legit, and even the babes at his counter were legit. I want to take this deal, but im afraid its too good to be true....

didnt really feel this was suited for the lounge, as its a serious question, and ive seen this discussed several times here before. Just tryin to find out if people think this is safe or stoo sketchy.

the next highes quote was over 5000 for the same operation, ya know. I mean I'm feelin it but its like saying "I could get 5000 for this car, but ill sell it to you for 1500." Then you gotta wonder about that car....

I don't really know what makes you so suspicious of him. Simply ask for references and he should have someone or pics for references who have had it done. I would at least ask to see a couple before and after pics. He may easily be able to cut out lumps but what will it look like when he is done?

References would be a must. It may be a good deal or it could be the worst deal ever. You can never be too careful when it comes to stuff like this there are far too many horror stories to risk it.
