I believe in men's fitness comps they don't at any time wear posing trunks. At least in the US they do a physique round but they wear shorts and shoes where its just quarter turns only, then a strength round, and an obstacle course.
Also if you notice he does hit a few poses. Right when he gets off the "phone" and starts moving to the side I guess he hits his version of a ab/thigh shot, then a back double bi, then a few "classical" poses, a most muscular, and a front double bi. IMO that was him doing a bb routine, but made it a little too fruity
from any more comps in my opinion.
