bout 22-25 grams per 4 oz depending on where you look.
most other lean meat in gonna be about the same number as well.
Cooked or uncooked? Makes a difference.
Well say you take an 8oz chicken breast out of the fridge and throw it on the grill. When its cooked that chicken breast will weigh mabe 6oz. I have noticed a difference in the weight you lose through cooking based on brand of chicken and cut. So it always makes a difference.
So a if you compare a 6oz raw chicken breast vs. a 6oz cooked breast you are really comparing a 6oz raw to an 8oz raw. See the difference now?
Ok, yeah i see that, does it change the levels of protien though, by cooking it alternating its state so to say, like is 4 oz going to have just as much protein raw as cooked if the weight is the same or does it differ some how (thanks i am just trying to learn as much as possible)
this is a good question, if the package says a 6oz peice has 30 grams, does that mean uncooked?
well i ate 3 oz of cooked chicken tonight, anyone have any clue what it shrinks down to when cooked? im researching my diet to see exactly what im getting and what i need to work on.
Use this dude, select how you cooked it, it'll give you exactly what you need.
Use it for all your food.
