If you want a massive dog check out the Old English Mastiff. Mine weighs 190lbs and he isn't a large mastiff. The biggest dog on record now is 285lbs, a mastiff in Danvers Mass. Nobody messes with my yard. I think they are great dogs. If you want something smaller but massive check out the Bull Mastiff. They crossed the Mastiff with the bulldog to get a smaller more active version of the Mastiff. I just had to put my 12 year old BullMastiff down a week ago Friday. If you want more info PM me.
