Hey, my contract expires with Nextel October and I'm going with Verizon. I was wondering what everyones opinion was on a good phone. Im into a PDA/Blackberry type phone. Ill be using it for mainly email and surfing the web.

I was thinking about the XV6800, but it kind of looks cheap with the plastic.

I've had the touch screen AT&T 8525...I hate it, its broken more times then I can count. It has Windows Mobile 6. Do not buy that phone, thats my opinion...

My b/f has the iphone. It seems like a good phone but i text way to much to use that onscreen keyboard.

Yeah the texting keyboard is definitly the worst aspect of it. But my hands are HUGE and Ive conquered it so I know anyone else can too!

I can type but it slows me down too much. I text more than i talk so to me its not worth it.

If you text enough with the iPhone it actually becomes really easy. I hated it at first, but now I can rattle off a whole paragraph with correct grammer in no time.

Yeah it's really just about getting used to it. The auto-correct function really helps for dumb spelling errors too.

my hands sweat way too much for the iphone touch screen. id turn it into a smudgy piece of shit in a matter of minutes...
