    NYC Gym

It looks like I am going to be moving back up to NYC in a few weeks. Kind of sucks since we JUST moved into Philly a month ago, but a new job offer came in that I couldn't turn down and she can easily get a teaching job in the city since she is still certified in New York.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew of any real dungeon gyms in the city. I'm talking old school. You guys know the types, an old mom & pop set up. I used to workout at a place in Brooklyn but I think it is long gone and it looks like it will be too far of a hike from our area. Anything on the mid to upper east side. I also was thinking anything around Hell's Kitchen since that will be near the office.

    Carlos you have any suggestions?

Ha, pick you up at seven. We could have gone to see Janet Jackson and then back to my place but it looks like she canceled.

Could have been one sexy night!

There are a few good gyms near Hells Kitchen. Golds is on 54th between Broadway and 8th.

Naa it is not. But as Gixxer said, dungeon gyms can't afford Manhattan prices.

Aint that the truth! That's why I wish the place I used to work out in Brooklyn was still around.

I probably will end up at the Powerhouse up on 42 (I think) if it is still there.
