    Age?, Height?, Weight?, Diet?, Etc?

How come the simplest questions are always answered with, "What are your stats?". That is one thing I see all the time. I know you have noticed it too, heck you probably do it. I know there are cases when that informationis needed, such as cycle planning, diet planning, and other situations. I am just wanting to discuss with everyone what they think about it? So go ahead and give your opinions. Im interested to see what everyone thinks.

I've been reading the forums here for a good 8 months now, and from what I can tell is that most of the guys handing out advice are actually very responsible. it seems they don't want inexperienced lifters gearing up. Makes sense to me, you really need a lot of info on the individual if you're going to give them any kind of advice.

because with that info we can work out the best possable way for the person to run the compounds(in many cases diet is all that is needed)

now if a guy comes on and says .

what you think of this cycle?

    weeks 1-14 750mgs test e per week

weeks 1-14 400mgs deca per week

we ask for stats and get this-

    19

    135lbs

    lifting for 6 months

your not ready for steroids right now please take a look at the diet forum and post your current diet up,at your age you can gain a ton of weight by getting diet and lifting in order ,useing steroids at your age and weight will only lead to problems later on.

    THREAD STARTER-

OK THANK YOU I WILL ET TO THE DIET FORUM AND THANKS FOR YOU TIME.

i know its not as simple as that but if we can stop people from jumping right in and educate them first on how to get diet in order then thats a job well done and the reason why we are here (well me anyway)

hope this help answer yourr question.

I think it can be of importance. It gives you alittle idea of what/who you are trying to help. It's like when you go to the doctor and they ask if you drink/smoke, is it really important right then, no but can help you later with their cycle/qustion.

    That was so funny

But seriously though we need to know what we are working with before we start spouting off information, better to keep them in the dark and let them learn the importance of diet, training, and work ethic. Just like godsend pointed out. You got kids running wanting to run two grams of test at 150lb pounds!!!! They need some sense smacked into them!!!

I understand it is important to get someones stats if they are asking about a cycle. I just think it is asked way too much. I pretty much have my stats on a wordpad in order for a quick copy and paste.lol

For me it applies in many areas. Whether the advice is steroid, diet, or workout related, my advice to someone 18 years old, 6' and 150lbs 10%bf would be drastically different than my advice in the same areas to someone 45 years old, 5'8" 250lbs 30%bf.

I have to agree with Jigga, it is asked to often when it really isn't needed.

Q: In your opinion, what is better for strength tren or deca?

    A: Stats please.

I never understood why it is asked so often in these types of situations.

I agree to a certain extent but why not do some research and reading on the website if you don't want us to ask where your at. Thats pretty simple, reading The answers are there, heck you can even use the search button and not be a member. I didn't even join this place for a couple years, would just lurk and read all that I could. There are a certain group that is on here enough that you know where they are at but you have new people coming and going you want some stats. But I know what your saying and agree with to an extent

Agreed, I think about 80% of the questions asked should contain their stats or be asked. I just provide stats in any question I ask, it's not going to hurt. That is the same think I think when someone ask for stats when it is really not needed, it's not goint to hurt.

Lets stay on topic people, I to wanted to goof off in this thread and post a funny pic with my smacking kids comment but I refrained in fear of being suspended.

Personally I think people that don't want to give stats are embarrassed at where they are at IMO. Then again stats are even different then pics. You sometimes can have people with nearly the same stats but one looks quite a bit more muscular than the other

    It's in the lounge now....

With that being said, I don't see the harm in posting your desired pic....

Another reason I sometimes ask for stats, even if it is not pertinent to my advice, is just to know more about who I'm talking to.
I belong to some car forums (I'm into hotrods) and often people ask for the car's specs even if it has nothing to do with the question, just because it's a commom interest. Someone may ask for help picking a color for an old Camaro, and within the next few posts someone will ask for the specs just out of curiosity, and the poster gladly posts them.
Here stats are a common interest, but many members are hesitant to share them. In reality if people would just fill out their profile we could cut the "what are your stats?" posts to a minimum, that's why the option is there.

^^^ This is exactly why i ask for stats...

Now if its a simple question like "How were your gains on Tren?" then i wont bother.

But if its like, "Whats a good PCT for Prop/Tren/Mast?" i will generally ask for stats because they are obviously interested in doing a cycle.

From there we can see what their proposed cycle is and if they even should run a cycle or if we should lock them in the diet section and throw away the key.

when people ask for opinions on what they should do next yes on the stats but when someone asks a question regarding gear, it doesn't matter if there 85lbs or 285lbs the answer will always be the same, that kinda erks me a little around here and not everyones goals are to be a bb and a lot of people base there responses off that....
