Infection!

Hey all... So I think unfortunately right at the turning point in my cycle Im gonna have to stop. Unfortunately Im pretty sure Ive developed an infection in my glute, went to the doctor and they put me on antibiotics which will take care of the infection. It totally turned me off... Maybe orals are a better idea for me? Seems that my skin didnt appreciate the pins lol. Anyone else have this type of problem?

Lots get an infection at some point. Don't think I would jump ship just yet. Do you have an idea what caused the infection?

i have stuck myself hundreds and hundreds of times and have never got an infection. watch, i'll develop one tommorow since i said this

Ya man sometimes you overlook some small thing and end up with a bad inj. Dont let it weaken your resolve. Stay the course.

I havent had any problems other than some knots injecting winny but I wont be doing that again. *knock on wood*

over 10 years doing this never a problem.. see this issue posted alot lately..
sloppy injection technique or some shady gear floating around..

hey all thanks for the support. I think i got bad gear, which is quite unfortunate. My last injection was in my glute. the next day it was swollen, hot to the touch and really tender. So I said well aint that some shit, I gave it another day or two, still didnt clear up so I went to the doc, told him what it was from, gave me a tetnus shot just as a precaution and put me on antibiotics, he was worried it could be staff, but I followed the injection posts like it was the guttenburg bible, dont know where I went wrong

Bad gear. If you follow all steps for safe injection, you should be fine. I never had this problem.

yeah I think it has to be bad gear because. When I injected I massaged it in for a good five mins. Still afterwards the area became kinda hard almost as if the gear was stuck in that spot, then redness, swelling, hot to the touch and tenderness came shortly after

Yea, bad gear. I've messed up plenty of injections in my time causing lumps and bruising but never an infection. Sorry to hear it man. Hope everything turns out ok.
