Anabolic steroids in acetone solution

Hello !

I am a french chemist and I've syntetised 10g of pure Nandrolone dissolved in puriss quality acetone.

I know that this steroid must be injected. I have no problem with IV but I really HATE intramuscular injections.

I wonder if I can put the acetone solution on my skin. this latter would immediately absorb the acetone containing the steroid...

Is this possible or the steroid can't go not deep enough in the muscle `?

Acetone is some nasty stuff and I would never even consider putting that into my body. Even inhaling it is not good

yes, and i think there was research on it showing it was carcinogenic too. I could be wrong but I swore that's what one of the chemists at the university said the other day while we were cleaning our glassware.

hello !

Today I tried the test . I dissolved 1g of drostanolone acetate (not nandrolone) in 50ml of acetone. I took 5ml of acetone sollution and put 2,5ml on each arm. It was quickly absorbed ! The dose was 100mg for today. I worry if it is better to take small dose every day ???

and besides, the absorption rate is horrible compared to IM injections.....i wouldnt think of injecting some type of acetone solution tho so thats out of the question for me.

sounds like a bad idea to me, even if you were going to make a transdermal, which I wouldn't do. Acetone would not be my choice of carrier.

I got some ethyl rubbing alcohol that has acetone added, you can definitely smell the acetone. This is from the MSDS for acetone and as I thought it is nasty shit, maybe it is ok in very small amounts.

Thank you for the answer . Yes, acetone isnt very safe, in my country, acetone is not classed as carcinogen but it is irritant and dissolve the fat of the skin to dry this latter. Dimethylsulfoxide would be safer but it is too polar and I expect the steroid insn't very soluble in it. Pure lad-grade ethanol would be safer than acetone but acetone dissolves it readily.

Does anyone have any information about the absorbing rate of the steroid through skin ? It is possible to make my own patch like nicotine patch ?

Today I can tell that I'm more hungry than usually. Perhaps that's is due to the steroid effect ? I've never taken any steroid before...

just about everything polar and non polar will dissolve in dmso.
you can use that on the shorter esters like acetates but the longer esters and dmso no-joy, already tried it.
