finasteride... dont know if that will help with acne, but it does block DHT related hair loss

As far as DHT blockers go, Dutastride is probably the most powerful. It has a longer half-life than finastride and is much more powerful at lower doses.

I have to agree 100%, still don't know if it'll do much for acne though

It will most likely help with acne since DHT is very androgenic and will be reduced.

Start a couple of weeks before the cycle. I've but on it since just after is came out (Sept 2002), daily .5mg wheter on or off cycle (large majority of time was off).

After one and two weeks of daily dosing with dutasteride 0.5 mg, median serum DHT concentrations were reduced by 85% and 90%, respectively. In patients with BPH treated with dutasteride 0.5 mg/day for one year, the median decrease in serum DHT was 94%. The median increase in serum testosterone was 19% but remained within the physiologic range."
