Find a calculator that tells you how many calories you need based on weight and activity level. 40% of your calories will need to be protein, 40% carb, 20% fat. 4 cal in each gram of protein, 4 in each carb, 9 in each fat. Do the math to determine how many grams of pro/carb/fat you need.
If you want to gain weight, add a few hundred cal in the above proportions and you should be ok. If on a cycle, make it several hundred extra. As you gain lean weight, do not forget that your cal requirements go up as well.
