Does anyone own one of these amazing dogs? I've really taken to getting one, though i've seen pups can range from anything between 600 a 2000 pounds! Price not withstanding, what are they like as pets?

a freind of mine has one. It is his couch buddy. I mean that dog will sit on the couch all day with him..
They are great, his dog pushes his girl off the couch if there is no space for him.

My best friend got one, and not only do I hate the dog, I hate him now as well. The fat POS runs around snorting like a pig and can barely get up the stairs. They are stubborn dogs and his doesn't listen to anything anyone says. Damn if those aren't about the ugliest dogs on the planet. Why the hell do people think they are so cute? They are obese and that underbite is disgusting.....

a friend has one he is great... loves food and i guess they are prone to getting really fat... they paid 2k (dollars) great dog when he gets excited he snorts... i laugh my butt off

Mine is a stubborn,lazy,loud,smelly(i could go on) SOB but he just makes you laugh so much.Do not get one unless you have a lot of time to spend with him/her because they need a lot of attention,grooming etc.

I was torn between getting a bulldog or a pitbull about a year and a half ago.

I looked into all kinds or breeds and the best breed I found was a Renascence Bulldogge, some people call them Gargoyle Bulldogs too.

If you could imagine, a Pitbull mixed with a English Bulldog, or a pit, just a little more bulky and with a bigger head, that's what you get.

My little guy is 15 months old, is as athletic as a pitbull, but has more of an over sized English Bulldog look. He's 19" tall and 84lbs right now, and he still puts on a few pounds a month.

He went to doggy school for 5 months, and is very obident. No accidents in the house, he handles extended stay very well, even around other dogs. If I say "place" he goes right in his kennel, or lays on his blanket.

I don't have any photos of him uploaded, but this is his grandpa (Hugo). My guy looks just like Hugo but has less brindle and more white.

I don't think you do, forget to give him his 20 steaks a day and he'll eat you. I'll keep the steak for myself.

I have 4 dogs. two english bulldogs one american pit bull terrier and a dane mastiff mix. the bulldogs i have is one male one female. they are so stubborn dont listen very hard to train. the male has bit me twice. Im sending him to a expert trainer. the female is a lovable dog but still very hard to train. by far the apbt and the dane mix are by far an easier going breed. I know the media has protrayed pits as horrible dogs but in my opinion they are by far better breed.

my sister has two. I don't really like the bread. They're really cute but stubborn and hyper and stupid and smelly and attention seaking, and lound and annoying. I would never get one for myself. The one you can see in the picture is the better of the two. The one in the background was trained to dog fight and was rescued. He can't be around people, he's f-ed in the head.

There is no breed that is too stubborn to train. Bulldogs can be good dogs, they just take work.

If you can afford to buy one, you should be able to afford to pay a trainer to train one.

The breed I have is great, they are very obedient. I take him for walks in the summer out on the pier and people are always either scared or impressed with his appearance. But he sits when It ell him, even if another dog is barking at him 3 feet away. He won't move until I tell him heel, or give him the hand command to move.

He still has his nuts and he listens very well, I don't have a fenced in yard, and he stays right around the house. I'd just let him run,but I don't want someone to steal him.

He's the most impressive dog I've ever seen, with training and looks. My buddy has a lab that is suppose to be so smart, but the thing is a hyper active prick that always jumping on people and won't leave you alone. Barks like crazy.

My guy barks if someone knocks at the door, and that's about it. He he wants something, he sits next you you and looks at you. does not paw at you, or make noise, just waits.
