Sweet potatoes have a much lower Glycemic Index number than regular potaoes.
yeah its like comparing whole wheat bread to white bread....difference in GI. I actually enjoy sweet potatoes better anyway......throw some cinnamon on those bad boys and get to work!

I've tried so hard, in many different fashions to get sweet potatoes in my diet. They taste like absolute shart to me. It's weird because I can't think of another food that I don't like.
thanks everyone. notorious try baking them then add some splenda, cinnamon and your good to go. add a little water to them if they're dry
I nuke them for 5 minutes and then use a little splenda brown sugar on them. They are friggin delicious to me that way. I'd eat them even if I had 20%BF

Because its sterile and I like the taste.
I dislike them as well, stonegrmi has a recipe in his blog where you cut them into about 1/2" fries, dip them in egg white, and I think sprinkle a little sea salt (That's what I did anyways) and bake them. THat's about the only way I can stand them.

Damn I love sweet potatoes. I look forward to them every day. I believe they are more nutritious than normal potatoes as well. I like to add cinnamon and fake butter.
