sinus infection...need advice

Just what the title says. My face is killing me, and my back teeth are hurting...and feel kinda lose. The doc prescribed me an antibiotic, an antihistamine, and some decongestant nose spray. Been on these meds for two days, but have had these symptoms for 3 days. Does anyone have any advice to help with the pain? I took some excedrin, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I've taken tylenol pm at night, but it doesn't help. Alkaseltzer (sp) helps slightly, but this kind that I have has an antihistamine in it, so I should probably avoid it.

So should I do? Apply ice or heat? Thanks!

Btw this shit is affecting me negatively in the classroom. So if I feel like this tomorrow I'm going back to the doc.

Oh yeah, I figured the solution. Hot shower, two excedrin, and a couple cups of coffee.

I get these once a year real bad. It feels like I had a root canal w/o any novacaine. I get prescribed a antibiotic and lots of vicoden for the first few to ease the pain. Also have a prescribed nasal spray. Hang in there it gets better.
