    Almonds

im in the process of developing a bulking diet

when it comes to almonds, i see there are extremely high in fat

    and moderately high in protein

just curious of who eats them as a regular part of their diet?
any knowledge on the fat content in them?
just wondering if its healthy fat like extra virgin olive oil
or bad fat like mcdonalds double quarter pounder lol

almonds are what i call a miracle food... they're freakin great for you...

yes, they are high in fat.. dont have the macros on me right now, but you can use fitday.com to fig that one out...

almonds are efa's (yes, just like olive oil)... they are a monosaturated fat, a necessity of your diet so eat away.. just make sure you do it in moderation based upon your split and tdce

almonds have about 16g fat, 6 g pro and 3 g carb or something like that
walnuts are also great for you, 18g fat, 4g pro, and 5 carbs or something like that too

nuts are full of healthy fats, like *****-3s that are considered efa- essential fatty acids for you body. there are great for bulking or cutting as they provide healthy, filling nutrients to your body. but as they are high in fat that doesn't mean go and eat a jar a day. one to two ounces a day depending on your diet and goals is plenty

I would go for the walnuts..

even though the om3ga 3/om3ga 6 ratio is a little high.... they have MUCH MUCH more om3ga 3's as compared to almonds..which is a HUGE necessity in this type of lifestyle, especially when your downing truck loads of red meats and animal fats

Even better... Ditch the nuts, and pick up flax seeds (even better if it's the oil) They have a 3:1 ratio of Om3ga 3's to *****-6's..
