    The new star trek

Dude...this is definately one of the best ones. Unfortunately they TOTALLY overshadowed the bad guy with the kirk / spock stuff.

I dont know how I feel about it. I am actually kind of disappointed because I thought that it would mirror the story that all the previous Star Treks had built. I thought it was going to be the story of how they all started together. Now they throw in the spin that they did (not to ruin the movie for those who havent seen it) and now the whole story seems out of place.

I did agree with that. They did it so they can continue making movies. But other than that...still pretty awesome

I would rather watched Nights in Rodanthe 5 times in a row than ever see this movie.

And I even like the original series.

I am not a fan. Haven't even seen any episodes in my life.

But I saw the movie. I thought it was rather awesome.

    Go with X-men.

I just saw star trek tonight.

It was fine. but I completely agree with Musclescience.

The villain was weak. And they didn't stay true to the story line.

Glad to hear. I have no interest at all to see this movie but the b/f wants me to go with him to see it.

Though i've yet to see this, isn't this a retcon of what has happened before, like a completely new re-telling much in the same way as the new Superman and Batman films have been?

I would assume the sequal to this wont be a remake of Wrath of Khan but something entirely different?

Keep hearing good things though, as I was a little let down with Wolverine.

Same here! Not a Trekky by any means...but I'll be seeing this week.

Wolverine was ok...my expectations were really high, and I was let down
