    Amputee MMA figher

    This thread was inspired by DSM's thread on the amazing armless woman. I didn't want to hijack or subtract from his thread, so I decided to start another.

    That made the Silva/Leites fight look exciting to say the least.
    Hate to say it...but it looked like a novelty act. The fully limbed fighter never loaded up on the guy. Have a hard time believing that he could last in a legitimate fight. But kudos for having the cajones to jump into the cage.

    Yes, sometimes things will get reposted. I really don't think it can always be avoided.

    I didn't think this was completely dignified for the amputee. How can you get a submission or KO?

    don't get me wrong..and give the dude all the credit in the world, but impossible. i mean to paint a picture with your teeth or play the guitar with feet is one thing, but to fight with no arms or legs against a fully capable adult??? weird thing imagine how the guy feels who was fighting him..imagine some ground and pound...jeez..

    Well, that's just my point. The amputee's opponent was obviously toying with the guy. He only punched him a few times really lightly. I'm all for people with challenges overcoming the odds. I loved the thread about the girl with no arms winning fitness contests and think that was just absolutely amazing. This MMA show was just kind of embarassing, I thought.
