    HCG: Sub-Q or IM?

    What is the best way to take HCG? I have tried sub Q in the past and IM, but I don't believe I took enough either time to have the effect it should have had. So, which way is better? Thanks.

    Bro...either way is OK. I use a slin dart and go sub-Q..other go for the bigger poke. Either way is OK. As a matter of fact the directions enclosed in the Pregnyl HCG give instructions for both ways. So do whats ever bset for you.

    My doc tells me subcutaneous, 1000 iu a day for 10 days. Works for me.

    I use the insulin 1/2inch 1/2cc needles 28 guage, just push em in the shoulder
