    Cavs Vs. Magic

Not sure how many of you are watching the playoffs, but this series is simply ridiculous to watch no matter who you want to win. Games being close, single points and buzzer beaters.

I'd LOVE To see Lebron Vs. Kobe in the finals, but I don't know if the Cavs cast can beat Orlando.

Game 5, Cavs were impressive. Mo came out firing, and hitting.

The thing about the magic is, they are so diverse, they can count on MINUMUM of 2 guys being hot every single night. It's almost never the same 2 guys. Dwight, is consistent, with rebounds, good for 15-25 points and controlling the defense (and fouling out). That why I think they are the best team in the NBA right now. They have no weakness, and anyone on the floor for them can burn you for 30 points, even their bench.

The Cavs can win, but they will have to play EVEN better than they did in game 5. They won game 5, but Orlando shot REALLY bad in the first quarter, and the fourth. They won't shoot that bad in the next two games.

Just my 2 cents if anyone cares

I'd like to see the cavs win it but I don't think it's gonna happen. It's more of the magic vs lebron. Maybe next year lebron will have a better supporting cast

Go Magic! I hope they win, because it's my home team but the buzz around here is that it won't happen because so many people want to see a match up between Bryant and Lebron and that the refs aren't being fair.

The refs after being publicly scrutinized by phil jackson hopefully are pay attention and calling it fair.

I would really like to see the Kobe Vs. Lebron too, it's the match up of our generation, the Jordan Vs. Bird of 2009.

The Magic play REALLY well and have good match ups (for them) against both teams though. I can't see Lebron being able to take out the Magic alone. Cav's need a point gaurd, or a solid scoring forward or gaurd with solid experince to play with Lebron. A Richard Hamilton (Det) that keeps busy, no stagnant offense or Chanucey (Den) would be perfect for the cavs

when mo williams is on, he plays his role well enough. anyone else would start to clash with lebrons style, and step over the role of a support player. you can't have two guys expecting the ball when the game is on the line.

i think it would be interesting if they followed suit with the celtics by picking up a back up player with a big name (starbury) to help off the bench, and add a little threat of their own. someone like AI would do pretty well i think. not expecting too much, but getting some decent minutes with a different style while lebron is resting might help them

This is supposed to be Lebron's year but his supporting cast is letting him down big time.

a true champion makes everyone around him better. jordan made his team mates good. until Lebron matures and figures out how to incorporate everyone he will never win a championship. u can tell his team just sits back and watches him. i have never seen lebron get on one single player.

they have to be one of the worse ran teams in the nba. the only reason they got lebron was because they sucked so much they got the number one overall pick and they are so lucky it wasnt one of the years where the number one was a bust. compare their payroll to a lot of the other top teams and it is crazy.

    what?

    no way, my man.

Lebron vs Kobe is no where near the match up of Jordan vs. Bird.

Besides the fact that Lebron is waaay over-rated imo.

Jordan or Bird were never considered on par with Kareem, wilt, Dr.J and other legends while they were playing.

Legends are never legends, until they retire.

Since the Jordan/Bird/Magic era, these are the best, and most exciting 2 players to enter the game.

Lebron is currently beating a lot of Jordan's recods and Kobe has already done so. Bird was good, but Kobe and Lebron are already better than him. Kobe will never be as good as MJ but Lebron has the potential to be better. His shots are improving every year, he can drop a J. He's bigger, stronger and more powerful on a drive. With his size and skill set, he can't be matched up.

Jordan did make his team better, but he always had a solid point gaurd. Jordan put up points, he played the role of the point scorer through his years. He always had a pretty solid point gaurd to control the game, but he was able to play that role as well. But for the most part it was BJ or Paxton that took the role of organzing and making the plays. Jordan honestly played more of a move, catch, shoot player. He made his team better not because he had amazing passing, or court vision, but he had a high basketball IQ, they could depend on him to make a clutch shot.

Chicago had to learn a lot though, they lost some key east finals games to Detroit early in Jordans career. Jordan came in with 4 years of NC experinces, in the finals there, he adjusted to the pressure quick. Lebron is in his 6th season, but that is only Jordans 2nd. Lebron is a 23 year old kid still, he has "IN MY OPINION" more potential than Jordan did at the age of 23.

Jordan/Bird/Magic were all legends even before they retired.

But, I agree, at least Kobe is one of the best players in the game since that era.

I just don't see Kobe (and especially Lebron) ever having the status of a Jordan/Bird/Magic

Kobe is great, but I honestly think Lebron is already better than Kobe.

Lebron does about everything better than Kobe already. Scores, passes, rebounds, drives, draws fouls. You could argue Kobe is a better shooter, but Lebrons FG% is higher than Kobe's from jump shots and 3pts. Kobe is the best closer in the game, I'll give him the edge on that.

Kobe is also in his 13th season with rings on his fingers and many trips to the finals. He has the most legendary coach to ever grace the game behind him also. He has more than double the experience than Lebron does.

I'm not sure how old you guys are, but I'm 28. Kobe is 30 and Lebron is 23. I think back to what I knew at 23, and compare that to what I know now, and I think of how many stupid mistakes I've made, and how much more I know now at 28.

fg percentage has nothing to do with how good of a shooter u are. if u actually watch the game all of lebrons shots are pretty much wide open unless its for a buzzer beater. kobes are always contested. everyone gives lebron an 8 foot space and gives him the jump shot because they dont respect it. he doesnt draw a lot of fouls he is given a lot of fouls and when he misses and no foul is called he just whines even when replay shows he wasnt touched. kobe is also a way better leader.

Yeah I live close to Orlando, they really haven't had a good team since the early 90s back when Shaq and Penny Hardaway were there, we had season tickets then but they have fallen off of the Radar until now.

    I'm happy they won!
