    OK to keep gear in fridge?

    Aiight i know most people say to just keep it in a cool dark place but i live in a pretty tropical place so sometimes my place gets pretty warm and humid. Ive been storing it in a minifridge on the lowest setting. That wont hurt it none will it?
    noob question lol i actually thought nothing of it until i just saw a pic someone posted of their gear and on the amp it says no to refrigerate lol

    Just keep it in a kitchen or bathroom cabinet, it will be fine.

    Don't leave in sunlight area either.. somewhere nice dark room temp.

    Thats the problem room temp is pretty warm where i live lol so i thought ehhh the fridge will be good, bad idea guess

    nope didn't hurt it, but won't help. the temp needed to damage gear would be considerably higher than any natural ambient temps.

    It will stay cooler in a cabinet though, less sunlight getting in and whatnot. Just remember, no fridge.

    Makes no difference. I keep gear in the frig, some in the drawer, don't matter. Most people keep it at room temp but again, makes zero difference.
