teens and steroids!

No I am not a teen I am 22 now and I started when I was 21 with only sustenon! so this threat has nothin to do with me.
I totally understand why teens decide to take roids. There are so many pressures from everyone in life to look a particular way what can they do. I work as a voluteer for social work in a highschool and there so many suicidal teens that it is scary. How can we stop them from using roids? My friend started taking steroids when he was 15 and now he is 230 and does modeling but that doesnt mean teens should use steroids. I guess he was lucky! and something about how people should start steroids at 30 and after. Well, after 30 I dont think I would need steroids. I think I would be happily married and the last think I would think about is being big. At my age, this is the time to attract the girls and make the other guys jealous! but if your intention is purely bodybuilding at that age all the power to you. but frankly I and most of you take steroids for those damn girl and jealous guys! just my 2 cents!

Yes, the bottom line is the girls and being bigger and stronger then the dudes next to you, but for some people, it's a way of life.
I agree on the fact of not using the sauce past the age of 30 because the Aesthetic appeal may not be needed at that point if all goes well in your life plans (unless you're a porn star).

BUT, bodybuilding hsa become as routine as brushing your teeth for the most of us, and I'll be continuing it on for the benefits I reap from seeing improve on my physical features through self-discipline and determination, traits that most people lack now-a-days.

It seems most people I know, juice to better themselves and their body, not for the girls, that comes secondary. I personally train and take AS(only 1 cycle so far) for me, I could give a fuck about what other people think. I do it for myself, and it becomes a way of life. The only thing I think about sometimes is my next cycle because I can't wait to be "on" again. Do it for yourself, not for other people.

I think that anyone can have their own reason... as long as you are safe, know the sides, and are old enough. To each his own. I dont think anyone can say that someones reason for lifting as well as taking aas to enhance their lifting is not a good reason, because to them it is.

Well, I lift for myself (I actually shut myself from the world when I lift, I'm in "the zone" and am really enjoying myself).

I'm sure most of the guys and gals here also lift for themselves and don't care what others think.

The average 13-19 year doesn't think like that. I'm in my mid 30's and I also volunteer with teenagers and can tell you that to that age group in general the opinion of their peers is everything. Never mind peer pressure, simple peer opinion is enough to make most teens do the stupidest things. And of course they all deny it.

Is that why some use gear? Of course... Should they do it? Well duh.

Don't forget folks that when we compare teens to "adults", we are comparing apples to oranges. What is an obvious danger to us adults (wether it's playing with weapons, driving their car like a maniac or using gear) is merely trivial to them.

Remember when you were a teen? You were invincible! You laughed a the face of death because "it's not going to happen to me".

I think it is about a level of maturity. Yeah, yeah I am 21, but I will tell you that I have endured a lot of shit and believe I am very mature for my age. Training should not be about what other people's impressions about you are. I see a person working their ass of in the gym they deserve to get bigger, its not about hating someone, if they put in the effort they should reap the benefits. Fuck the girls, fuck the guy next to me, train hard, heavy and for yourself. If you start doing things for the wrong reasons you will notice that they don't mean anything to you. I dont have a problem with people using aas and want to impress people, but if you dont do thing in life for you, yourself, you might find out they dont mean as much to you as you thought they did. i lift for respect and self confidence..i truly believe that everyone i know works out to look and feel good about themselves....every one wants people to think there physically fit...when someone tells you that they notice that your built, believe me that influences me in the gym...i want my body to be in better shape and stronger than the guy next to me...and deep down i think every body has that thought once in a while..because competition is a natural thing. People wouldn't do body building shows or strength competitions for no reason at all. it's to show everyone how hard they've worked at becoming the best...so no i don't think people lift " soley for themselves."...even if you don't do competitions or BB shows you still want people to notice your getting bigger and that your fit...thats just my opinion...Madmax...

You contradict yourself! You do juice because your insecure about yourself and you feel that you need it to get broads, so why would you preach to youngsters? They have the same mentality you do, that's why their using it! 22 or 16, drugs are harmful at any age if abused. Im with palme I do it for me but its more like a comp. for me to try and bigger than the guy next to me it gets me do work harder and lift more plus i want to go into compitition pretty soon hopefully

i think of it as more like short term to long term goals instead of comp. when getting bigger then the next guy.. GOOD LUCK with show's!!

i know you are all going to yell at me for saying this but im 17 and have done 4 cycles. i made sure i had stopped growing before i started and did a lot of research before i started. i did it because it just make me feel better before i was on sauce i smoked a lot of weed and did a lot of partying. after the as the work out high was the best out there. it makes you more confident on the feield and in life.
