    cheat day

im doing a cutting diet i was doing good up untill today i had
fish n chips for lunch, then on they way home i had a chinease buffet 3 plates later and some ice cream i feel sick and guilty. so in the morning soon as wake up am off biking for 2 hrs on an empty stomach. will those two cheat meals spoil a hard week of training and dieting ?

Sounds like you over did it but its okay to cheat sometimes. Moderation is the key!

It definitely undid some of your hard work, to what extent it would be hard to determine.

I just could never do a cheat DAY, a meal different story but I believe I have adapted my body to this type of dieting year round and now my body is almost like a high performance machine and if I ate garbage all day I'd feel like hell. I've had to do it before being out of town and stuff and it absolutely SUCKS

Stick to cheat meals and like redz said moderation is the key.

Meals not days and honestly you truly never NEED a cheat meal, its all mental

That is so "on the money". It's amazing how we can rationalize just about anything we do no matter what the situation is.

yeah think i did go a bit over the top, but am back on track today.

REED i got to train my mind not to eat shit meals, i find i can eat a very good diet when am indoors, but soon as go out for the day i struggle, why cant there be more healthy takeaways about.

    its all in the mind,

Take all your food with you. Its the only way i stay on top of my eating. A cool bag in the boot of the truck and away you go.Its amazing with a little organisation you can prepare everything for the day including drinks /shakes etc then you never have to worry.

I have a soft cooler with a shoulder strap that can hold a whole day of meals in ziplock bags. Worth it's weight in gold to me
