    Dream of Dreaming

Last night I dreamt that I was dreaming about dreaming.

    No lie - it took me forever to even understand. But yes;
I was dreaming about dreaming about dreaming... It was like a painting.

Point is; I've been having crazy ass dreams lately.

    What's your weirdest dream?

I have lucid dreams all the time where I know I'm dreaming and start doing whatever I feel like.

ive had dreams where you use a calculator...and get some crazy numbers punched in and get an answer. Then wake up and do it for real and get the same answer. But there obviously is not a calculator in my dream its just my own mind. I love dreams. Even the scary ones.

Always wake up when I realize I'm dreaming!! Hate it. I tried lucid dreaming for a few weeks after watching Waking Life. Not much luck

I used to have this vivid reoccurring dream where I was desperately digging a tunnel...don't know why but I HAD to dig and dig fast. I keep going further and further and the surrounding dirt gets closer and closer.

I then realize I'm going nowhere and try to turn around, but I can't. Then I panic and wake up. I would have this dream or some variation like once every 2 or 3 weeks.

After giving it much thought, I figured it was probably my mind telling me I'm trapped. I was in a relationship that was SO difficult to leave for years. I kept pushing and pushing with this relationship, trying to make it work as hard as I could. When I figured out I was fighting a losing battle, there was no way to turn around...I was in too deep.

I finally left a few months ago and have not had the dream!!! What a relief. I have a whole new life.

*Weird side note, I told my mother that I was having this dream. She has the EXACT same dream to the tee. She's very happily married to my father so it must be something else but kinda strange.

Let's here some more. I'm fascinated by dreams.

I remember when I was in Iraq I kept dreaming that I'd awoken in a Naval hospital - I'm talking 50's-esque nurse uniforms and 'old-fashioned' like an old movie.

There was one nurse who sat by me continuously - and when I'd ask what had happened, she would just smile and say that 'everything will be okay'.

In the hallway - crowds and crowds of people were quickly walking by (the hallway was always dark, my room was a light green) and glancing into the room, then continuing. I eventually got up and follow them...

I wound up surrounded by them - and I tried to fight and fend them off however for some reason I was terrified and wouldn't get close enough to hurt them. Eventually I collapsed, and when I looked up the nurse who'd been sitting next to me glared down and mumbled something I to-this-day can't remember. (I always forgot when I woke up).

I had the dream for about a month before I was injured pretty badly and had to return to the States. Still don't understand if I was predicting or if there's something else. I've had the dream return various times for a single night.

Most of my dreams are like moves, usually bad/B movies, SiFi.

I for a while had dreams I could control because I knew I was dreaming but I have not had one of those in a LONG time. The flying ones are GREAT when you realize it's a dream and control it for a while.

When i was a kid I use to have more of what would be an out of body experience. I would dream, know I'm dreaming but it was more I was just somewhere else. I would feel myself waking up but not be able to get back to my body and felt almost lost.

When I woke up for SEVERAL minute I could not more, then I could only move in SLOW motion. I could not talk or yell. I use to yell for my mom but remember not being able to make any noise for several minutes before my voice would slowly come back.

Do you think maybe it was Alien abduction? LOL
