    meal times and amount??

Obvisously your body can not take an over load of protein in,its just a waste, we all know that.

So with that said i have two questions.

    1. I use for post work out, a shake 15mins after workout. About 700-800 cal, 40g p. Question is, how long should i wait after the shake to actually have a soild meal? Which will either be a can of tuna with 5 egg whites in it. Or chicken breats and 1/2 cup brown rice.

    2. Same concept on this one...I will usally eat 10-12 oz's of chicken breats in a sitting. Thats too much protein at one time....would say about 80g or so right? Should i just break that down into 2 meals of 5-6 oz each of chicken?

    Thanks guys.

Where are the other 540-640 calories coming from in this PWO shake? Sounds like it is loaded with sugar and fat?

If I am reading this correctly, you are getting over 10 grams of fat from the powder then adding a tablespoon of peanut butter and almond milk to mix it with? Adding carbs to it in the form of oatmeal when it already has 75 per serving doesnt make much sense to me either. Anyways, to answer your question, if I do a PWO drink it is usually in the 40g Protein 40-60g carb range and then I would eat a food meal around 90 minutes later. If I drank the concoction you are having I might not eat again for 3-4 hours. I think you could find something much better than what you are currently using.

ok well now i know. Makes sence just never thought about it. Have never really tried to bulk either. After that shake my carb intake is very very low throughout the rest of the day. If i do have carbs its brocc. or spinach. maybe even lettuce occassional sweet potatoe. But i totally understand what you are saying. way to much at one time.

Im done with my bulking anyways, i was just curious about those two questions.

Guess this is why i never get any responces from my threads...everyone thinks im an idiot probablly. LOL, but im am a beginner at puttin a diet routine together. I have eaten healthy but never ate to put on muscle.

My ex wife was a vegitarian and going for masters in exercise science, so she put alot of different information into my head also.

    1. I would go with what fire said about the shake, Only difference is I eat within 45 minutes of the shake. But 90% of the time I just eat a meal.

    2. way too much. depending on your weight and specs I would only take in bout 40g at a time.
