Ok, got a funny story for ya. I broke up with my girl like 2 months ago, been sleeping with her on and off. Been on cycle for about 12 weeks of prop and masteron, coming off soon .. now i have been seeing various girls the last couple weeks, so I got into bed with one of them last night. I havent been taking my adex , but my nips were itching the last couple of days so i started taking it yesterday. About an hour we got into bed and started fooling around, no joke, i couldnt get it up if my life depeded on it. NOTHING. Kinda felt bad for the girl, and it is so awkward bc I can get a hard on from seeing the manicans at victoria's secret in the mall! It had to be that adex that I popped an hour or two before, no? ? Now im a little nervous...and felt ashamed last night

Yeah... personally i have never heard of adex killing sex drive... but then again anything is possible.... perhaps someone with more knowledge on the way it works can pop in.......... I'm interested in seeing the results to the answer.

Sounds like you just dosed it too high. 1mg may have just wiped out your Estrogen which plays an important role for upstream sexual functioning. Try .5mg EoD.

You could try stacking Toremifene with the A-dex to combat the oncoming Gyno, too.

I can use 1 drop of arimidex per day ( around .25ml per week total) and it still shuts down my drive. Some do fine while others like me do not. I will only use it a few weeks out from a show and never in the off season due to this factor.

Natural or when not on cycle:

Adex dose depends on ones T and E levels. A starting/trial typical dose for someone not on gear is .5mg/week.

Get serum E2 lab work. If Quest, must be the ultra high sensitivity as the regular dose not report below 32pg/ml. Start a trial dose, then check E2 in 3 weeks. If target is 22 and labs shows 28, scale dose up by 28/22.

One can scale up staring dose by weight and amount of fat with labs used to refine dose.

Getting E2=22pg/ml would be a good goal.

Some are adex over responders who will tank E2 on normal doses. They need to use 1/8th - 1/4th of typical doses. These guys will suddenly feel like crap and bye bye libido until things wash out.

Most do not need this. If fat gain or patterns seem inappropriate, then perhaps. If gyno prone at all, may be needed long term.

Some will benefit from low dose adex long term. More so the older guys who should be studying these things on the over 53 lifter formum where TRT is covered quite well. Lean virile guys should not bother.

small amount of adex should increase sex-drive, but if your taking too much than i have heard it will kill it, try reducing dosage, for most people .5mg daily should be enough so you can break the expensive tabs up

Not sure if this is any help but Im 54 years old and running adex for the last
6 weeks at .025 ed and no problems what so ever. also running Deca and Cyp

I had the same problem with letro when i took it for about 4 weeks,i think its more the fact that it's killing your estrogen than it is what your using. After i quit the letro i was ok after a couple of weeks,but i started using 50mg a day of test suspension and now i needed to start some nolvadex.

well i think its wierd that no one else mentioned it but if your nipples were hurting a few nights before then the problem was likely a result of too high of estrogen levels rather then the adex that you had just started. also blood pressure could be an issue. whens the last time you checked it?

Everyone is different and some like myself do not have issues with excess estrogen. Anti-es can help those in need but harm those who do not need it. I cannot make as good of gains taking anti-es and they really screws up my serotonin levels causing me to be lethargic and lacking that general feeling of well being. I also get headaches and joint pain. But the worst is a lack of sex drive.

I would use anties during the offseason "ONLY" if I had gyno symptoms. Keep it on hand but do not take it unless needed.

In regards to the condem statement I disagree. Why use something that's not needed and would only hurt your final results? You wouldn't! It would be like using a condem with your wife-NOT! lol
