    17yr old that wants to get buff/strong

    I don't know if I posted this in the right place. But anyway I am 17 about 140lbs. I want to get stronger. I know I am to young to take steroids. But I was wondering if there is any other ways to get stronger Like supplements, protein, workouts, etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

    I usually eat too meals a day. One in the evening and one at night.

    Even though you are too young to technically be on here i think you need some help.

    Do you seriously eat only twice a day?

    What do you do for the rest of the time like morning, afternoon, etc.?

    Most of the time I just eat twice a day.
    Sometimes I will 3 or 4 times a day but usually twice.
    I guess I need eat more.

    I know if I am going to gain weight I need to eat more.
    Let say I start eating 4 meals a day, are they anything else I can do to gain weight and get stronger?

    Yeah man i think there is a direct correlation in your lack of eating and not getting big lol.

    For example i eat 6 times daily and until i got my diet right i never grew

    I am going to start eating alot because I really want to gain weight and get stronger.
    Are the any supplement or protein I can take to help?

    At your age you would be amazed what a proper diet will do. Head over to the diet section, there are threads near the top for hardgainers, follow that for 6 months and you will make incredible gains.

    Ya. Chicken, lean beef, tuna, eggs, oats, sweet potatoes, ect. Spend some time in the diet section and you'll realize just how counter-productive only eating 2 meals/day is.

    Assuming you already know how to work out (which you might not, and if you don't disregard this), start powerlifting! Check out the section on this board...you'll get strong as fk and be hungry all the time.

    i was in your shoes bro and weigh 225 now.. just gotta force yourself to eat a lot of food and workout hard! giive it time my man

    I'm the same way with twice a day meals. It started about your age and even at 26 I still have a ways to go. I bet even though its just 2 meals there huge meals huh. I usually do 3000 or more calories a more a sitting.

    I'm trying very hard to change my diet to, wish I would have done it at your age. I'm not trying to give advice just letting you know I know how hard it is.

    Another thing you'll notice as you get older. Unless your extremely lucky your metabolism will slow down, and you'll have no trouble putting on mass. The hard part will be keeping the fat off LOL.

    I have eaten two meals before I leave for work in the morning. It must be conditioning, if I don't eat about every 90 to 120 min I am a irritable sob.

    Yeah its probably how you were raised. Food was tighter in my household so you had to get what you could

    DIET is your most critical factor,,,then proper TRAINING and REST!!
    Supplements safe and effective for you now try WHEY PROTEIN and some CREATINE.

    Ur natty test is at about 300mg/week already so take advantage. Eat like a horse....try to keep it lean and healthy. and you WILL see results. 2 Meals is def. not enough!
