    Site Infection??

The other day I was doing a 1ml injection into my left lateral delt (prop, tren ace). It hurt a bit so I figured that the muscle wasnt large enough for the whole mL so I injected the rest (.5ml) into my right quad. I injected the head closest to my knee on the left. I used the same pin (stupidly) but cleaned site with alcohol and was wearing gloves..

It felt fine till the end of the day and it swelled up. The next day it was red, still swollen and warm to the touch all day. This morning I woke up and its slightly sore, not red but still warm to the touch.. No fever or flu symptoms

I dont have health insurance so im trying to be cheap, but also dont want my leg to fall off.... Are there any other tell tale signs of infection? What should I do?

You injected into the TearDrop muscle using the same needle that you just used. Not too smart, but its done so whatever.....Next time why don't you try injecting into your calf muscle if you really want to feel some pain.

Haha... no thanks. I always use a clean pin too, i just wasnt thinking. Both of my larger quad heads were sore and glutes were slightly sore, so I figured if it was just half a ml in that muscle that it wouldnt be bad. I just want to be sure that its not infected. Its just the littlest bit red, and a little sore but it is warm to the touch...

It's probably nothing, but you could take some advil and see if that helps, also try and massage the area too, or a hot or cold compress.

Keep a "close" eye on it. If it gets worse, any worse, get it checked out. Make sure u are honest with the doctors if it gets that far. Anti biotics need to b taken seriously at any hint of infection. Once the infection is in place, anti biotics are useless, and surgery then is a given. I am speaking from experience
