How do i accurately get testosterone checked in a blood test?

So as a backstory, ive never used steroids, but a while ago i was having some fatigue issues so i had my test. checked in a blood test.
However the doctor only checked on thing, and i have no idea what it was. He didnt give me any units of measurement, only that it was "18" and that it was lower than he would have expected (high 20s). He actually asked me if i had been taking any test supplements, which scared me cuz that is a pretty serious drop (due to negative feedback). Anyways this bummed me out and i want to get it checked again as i think maybe lack of sleep, lots of stress, and bad diet, as well as overtraining resulted in a lower level.

So i was wondering what i should get him to check this time, so that i can actually compare it with other people, or hopefully post the results on here where you guys can actually make sense of it.

I was going to check these things after reading another post on a different board about someone with hypgonadism or something.

    Total testosterone (Ng/dl)

    Free testosterone (pg/ml)

    Sex hormone binding globulin (nmol/l)

    Free testosterone percent (%)

    Thanks for reading this.

My latest Serum T is as follows:

    Plasma Total T: 14.7nmol/L (10-28)
    Plasma SHBG: 6 nmol/L (10-80)
    Plasma Free T 480 pmol/L (90-580)

I was on Tbol 60mg/ED for 6 weeks.

"18" could be anything. But if I were to guess, its total T in nmol/L.

Well i do have libido issues, but i take medication that has a reduction of libido as a side effect. Energy, yes. But im up very late usually studying and as i mentioned earlier, i had symptoms of overtraining at the worst point.

So i went to the doc, and he gave me the results, he measured more than i thought he did.

So my Total test. (must be free serum) was 17.8, the range was 14-29 very similar to the above posters range.
SHBG was 30nmol/L i think the range was like 9-90, he said this was a good value that i had.
He also measured Total androgens? Or somthing like that and got 56 i cant remember if there were units or not, i think the range was >30?
He said this was a very good value, and represents pretty much how much test is in your system, apparently somewhat in combination with the SHBG value.

    FREE SERUM T =17.8nmol/L
    SHBG =30nmol/L
    Total androgen =56 ??/?

Im 20 years old 160lb around 6ft tall. (i look muscular, but not huge, strange considering my low BW)

    Total T: 17.8 nmol/L = 508 ng/L

Thats not bad. You shouldnt really have labido issues with that...

For 20 years old, I'd expect it to be higher though.

    What "medication"?
