    Lou Ferrigno on Mister Rogers

I couldn't help it, i had to post this. I was looking up Lou Ferrigno today on wikipedia and discovered he made an appearance on Mister Rogers Neighborhood.
That would be great to see.

when i watched it i remembered all the things i thought was cool.
I liked it when he wore the red sweater.. and when he was taking his shoes off.
funny how a kid's mind works.

Mister Rogers had some amazing quotes, read up about him, here's a guy who dedicated his whole life trying to better youth...

"If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person."

"How sad it is that we give up on people who are just like us."

"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping."

"When I say it's you I like, I'm talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed."

    -Fred Rogers r.i.p.

kihop, those ARE quite amazing quotes.
some of those remind me of quotes from spiritual teachers. The ones that say all the people we meet, whether we like them or not, are all mirrors of ourselves so just send them love cause by doing so you get love.. and therefore are love. I know it sounds newagee but its true.

It amazes me how current television never mentions such deep wisdom, such as those quotes, to the children. Hence the dumbing\numbing down of our children.. and its happening before our eyes.
