All things Ulcerative Colitis - better on test ?

    Hi All,

I saw a UC thread here -> http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=381363 but wanted to start a new one.

My primary question is 'Do you like myself feel that testosterone / HGH improves your ulcerative colitis' ?

I have spent considerable time researching UC, I nearly croaked in the hospital in 2008 down to 130 lbs. I refused to take prednisone again ( catabolic steroid ) as they had me on 120 mg. I had a flare since then but shut it down quickly with
    - 8-10 hours rest each night
    - VSL#3 pro biotic nearly 1 Trillion
    - Salmon morning noon and night
    - Plain yogurt plus honey plus ON natural protein

Since then I discovered psllium seed 'powder' and it made a HUGE difference. Feeling so good I decided to take the plunge with a deca/test cycle on the back of an already great HGH 6 month cycle.

I feel even better on my cycle and wondered if anybody else felt that additional hormones are actually helping the condition.

    Thanks

I was diagnosed with U/C about three years ago. I have done test cyp 500mg with var 50mg with no flare ups to speak of. I have taken cholozol since diagnosed with cortisol enemas for a couple of months. The test theory is very subjective. However, there have been some promising studies related to GH. I'm considering a 8-12 month run of gh at 2-3 iu/day.

    Wink

I have Chrones disease, and have blogged my diet here.

But, yes I am better on cycle, no question.

I have had U/C since 2003 and it went away a few years ago. I am very fortunate, I can eat anything and it does not effect me

I am from Chicago, I used to fly freight in all weather ( ice ) and teach flying. I have been a computer consultant since leaving that field after 2000 hours across 3 log books. Colorado was always important but I came too late, had knee surgery and both shoulders rebuilt and am skied out. But getting over the breakup in 2006 and paying ex 4k per month, helping her out on her last year of 'maintenance' and enjoying co-parenting our daughter finally.

Planning to meet up with some friends from across america in Vail for my birthday and new years eve the following day.

    You in colo ?

    Stress, Environment, and food additives.

Antibiotics are a another factor that weigh in.

I would say that stress is the trigger for the process to take place.

It is auto immune, but the exact cause of the mechanism is still in study.

    All the best.

Stress is that factor that starts my flare ups, I have not had one in a few years.
