Good combination size and conditioning. I do need to ask, how do you come up with weights of 310 and 480? You must be putting some pretty odd plate combinations on the bar.

Well thats not my max just my number for retaining and conditioning....sometimes instead of the 2 and a halfs to get 310 I do 320 but in that general area Im not sure on my max bench at this time my spotter has not been reliable lately for max day every 2 months..I think my max is 350 bench and for sure just did it was 500 squats...think thats pretty strong right for my weight?

If you are really bench pressing 350 and Squatting 500 then yeah- that is strong for only being 180lbs. IF you are really lifting that much.

I weigh 245 and my max bench is barely 400, and squat is barely 400.... and I consider myself somewhat strong

Those are impressive numbers but I stopped putting much faith in what people say they lifted quite awhile ago. There are probably a dozen guys in my gym who think they squat 500 lbs but if they ever took the bar down anywhere close to parallel they would fold like a pretzel. I am not accusing you of such just saying...

Yeah very true I see it all the time at the gym or people that bounce the weight of their chest on the bench...yeah my back and knees have taken alot of abuse well just discomfort from squatting the proper way as its not a fun feeling, hack squats actually believe it or not really helped with my max

Well I see where the you lose faith since those numbers and Im not trying to be negative but are low for your weight....but wish I was 216 like you just incredibly hard for me to get the extra pounds unless I do no cardio etc

I think in Texas the bar bell weighs a different amount .

    6x 45lb standard plates = 270 + texas 50lb bar bell = 320

    Taa daa

Somewhat? youre pretty strong dude. as a senior in hs i could squat 525 raw but only 350 bench...i never got how you guys get that god damn high...i always dreamed of getting 405. im not trying to talk sh it but rather compare cause we were the same weight or i was 245 then atleast..back in the good ole days before i got hurt when i had my scholarship from boise state for defensive end

LOL!!!! You caught me ranging1!!!!!!!!! The reason I did this was because many people don't know what they want to be, either your a BB or a Powerlifter......The reason i say this is because if you lift like a powerlifter then you are not going to look like a BB....The only BB I have ever seen lift some incredible weight is Ronnie Coleman, however he is a freak of nature!!!!!! I have realized that the amount of weight does not matter, it is the ability to feel the muscle working and mind and muscle connection. So either your a BB or your a Powerlifter!!!!!!!! Me, i'm trying to be both!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!
