    carbs and muscle gain?

    can i still put on size while not eating crazy amout of carbs?

    In short yes, what is your definition of a crazy amount of carbs?

    i was told to eat like 5-600 grms a day wich im not doing yet cause im afraid that i will get fat. i already have a problem round the chest area that im not likeing.not sure if it is fat or start of gyno.

    Without knowing your stats and other macros its hard to give specific advice but I guarantee you can grow muscle on less that 500-600 grams per day.

    Short answer yes, long answer very hard. There are such things as essential fatty acids and essential amino acids but no such thing as essential carbs.

    BUT, the basic premise most people follow is - you eat as many carbs as you can without getting fat. This will vary a lot because as Poliquin says, MOST of the population is allergic to carbs. But like fireguy said, you really haven't given us much info.

    I wouldn't try it myself personally, and I don't see many cases when it would be recommended by anyone knowledgeable except in exceptional circumstances (or cutting).

    i only eat 250 grams of carbs per day. works fine for me
