    How to heal shoulder after heavy shoulder overpress injury?

    Today i did some heavy shoulder over press with dumbells and on my last set while comming down my left shoulder gave out a little and my shoulder went backwards. It didnt bend really far, i didnt drop the dumbbell i brought it back but i heard loud cracking noise and felt stuff popping.

    Right now the most pain i feel is in the back like the deltoid muscle and litlle in my rotator cuff.

    Anyone had some experience with this?

    i would say its better be safe than sorry so go to the doc's, but for any injury rest is best

    Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation (don't have to worry about this one with a shoulder).

    Doctors are hit or miss with injuries like this, maybe try a PT?

    I took 3 days off, didnt do shoulders for 2 weeks. its getting there. the only thing i did was put ice everynight and after gym
